A user’s wireless communication will be further improved by utilizing the user’s usage pattern to optimize the wireless interface. To enable this function, we have developed the concept of a Personal Radio Resource Manager (PRRM) as the complement to the CRRM. The PRRM is a personalized database to store and manage the user’s usage pattern. The PRRM is located on the IP-Cloud just like CRRM, and it exchanges radio resource information with Client device and CRRM while maintaining privacy and security issues.

Wi-Rider’s innovative technology allows mobile devices to determine the available wireless networks, while simultaneously helping to establish the hyper-network ecosystem and build a global radio map while collecting the over air traffic and monitoring results.
Wi-RIder’s solution bridges the heterogeneous networks without modifying current infrastructure. At the same time, the users will enjoy the benefits of more robust connectivity, higher throughput and longer battery life.
In the ecosystem, all operations are performed without any involvement of legacy wireless carriers’ systems.

Cognitive Radio Resource Manager (CRRM), is established and deployed for the maintenance of the location-based list of available wireless networks. A mobile device can communicate with the CRRM, if the device can connect to the public IP network such as the Internet. This exclusive interconnection is provided by our client software, Wi-Rider’s Map. As long as a mobile device has any wireless network connected to the Internet and is equipped with geolocation functions, such as GPS, this device can get the information on available wireless networks at a specific location.
